"The wind? I am the wind. The sea and the moon?
I am the sea and the moon. Tears, pain, love, bird-flights? I am all of them. I dance what I am.
Sin, prayer, flight, the light that never was on land or sea? I dance what I am." carl sandburg
dancefarm is a rural family homestead in which the farming of organic produce, cultivation of medicinal and culinary herbs, and loving animal care create the eco-system where seeds of dance can be sown, grown and harvested outward. We believe our bodies are the source for radical change, and when expressing our thoughts and feelings bring power, joy, and meaningful discourse.
In Tending Our Body Gardens, we recognize
ourselves as the closest to nature we'll ever be. We see ourselves
as microcosms of the earth's eco-system and
begin to cultivate change in the most local way. A world balanced by matriarchy and resource health can emerge from this kind of gardening...hence our intention based name- dancefarm.
